I dragged Finn out to the front yard this afternoon for a mini-photo shoot. People assume I take pictures of my own baby all the time, but the truth is, I am so busy taking pictures of other people’s kids and weddings that I don’t take nearly enough pictures of my own! And, let’s be honest, having to stand still and act “normal” for the camera is not high on a four year old boy’s list of Favorite Things to Do. But he was a pretty good sport today. Although there are plenty of “out-takes” when he makes all kinds of ridiculous faces for me that he thinks are hilarious and I just go along with as long as he can stand in one spot for more than 20 seconds. Here is a favorite from today:

There are plenty more worth posting but I’ve got tons of blog posts to do before I can “play” with my own pictures! But I had to at least peek. 😉 He is, after all, the best thing thing I’ve ever done in my life!
