Back in May I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding my good friend, Ginny. I always find myself emotionally invested when I photograph weddings. I understand the significance of the day and am honored to be a part of documenting such a magical event in peoples’ lives. But this one was a little bit different. I’ve known Ginny for about 5 years. I knew her before she knew Brent! I remember their first date, that he brought her a Gerbera daisy and how she talked about him (giddily!) when she came to work the following Monday. It was super exciting to not only witness them exchange their vows but to be there to capture it through my lens. Ginny and Brent–it was such an honor to photograph your wedding. The day was perfect and you two were so much fun to “work” with.
As always, I have too many favorite images to shove into one post so here is Part One–Ginny getting ready and some details…Enjoy!
There was lots going on when Traci and I first arrived. We got started on some detail shots right away.

Loved Ginny's dress. So elegant. And wait till you see it on her!

Love this--Ginny put a little flower pin in her shoe that he grandmother wore in her shoe at her own wedding.

The flower girl dresses were adorable.

Ginny and Brent have a little boy, Ben, who was just under a year old at their wedding. This was his suit. Can you stand it?!

Here Ginny puts a bit of make-up on Molly, her beautiful daughter.

Ginny's niece Maddie. She kind of likes the camera--can you tell? She was crackin' me up!

Dina did such a great job with the girls' make-up. Ginny looked flawless.

Coolest ringbearer ever--sportin' his signature mohawk.

The flowers arrived while everyone was busy getting ready. Love Ginny's colors! (My Mom did her flowers--she's so talented!)

The transformation! Girl-next-door to full-on bride. She looked AMAZING.
Ginny and Brent–thank you so much for being patient while I worked my way through these. There are tons more to share! Stay tuned…
