I visited Harper and her family just before the holidays. What a fun shoot! Her parents let me do exactly what I most love to do–hang out and shoot casual, real-life moments without a whole lot of interference or posing on my part. Hence the word ‘lifestyle’ in the title. We let Harper be Harper–her cute little self running around the house, singing, dancing, sharing a book with Mommy and Daddy. Her parents can look back at these images for decades to come and not only marvel at how much and how quickly she has grown but also remember her just the way she was when she was 14 months old. Okay–on to the fun part–Harper!
The shot above is probably my favorite from the day. It is super hard to choose one–but this just seems to so perfectly capture her. Big ol’ smile and on the run! She must have done 20 laps around the downstairs with her stroller. Busy girl!
Below–a collage of some fun moments. I love how tiny she looks in the picture of her Dad putting her shoe back on. She loves to dance and sing with her Mommy–bottom left.
We headed out to grab a few family pics in what was left of the fall foliage. Harper is so proud to be walking and really enjoyed being in the middle of her parents!
One thing the family loves to do is snuggle up in the big bed and read books together. How fun are these?

And to call people!
Snack time!
Honestly I hate to end this…I just LOVE this session! Before leaving I made sure to capture one more fun family activity. This white board hangs in their downstairs hallway and they draw cartoon pictures of the family and let Harper use the marker, too. So cute! One of those little, everyday moments they will look back on and laugh about 20 years from now…I love capturing memories!
