On a gorgeous Sunday in July I had the honor of photographing Staci and Andrew get married!! Everything was so perfect! There were so many handmade and personal touches throughout their wedding. Andy grew up on Candlewood Lake so having their ceremony and reception at the Candlewood Inn was very special to them. They lucked out with gorgeous weather and the whole day was a joy to be a part of. The Inn did a fabulous job all day long, from set up to delicious food to taking care of the guests–and us vendors–a great experience! Speaking of greatness–huge thanks to my good friend, Cheryl Cronin, for shooting with me.
Let’s start with Staci’s dress. So, so pretty and so unique. Loved her shoes, too.
In the collage below you get a glimpse of one of her bridesmaids tying her dress. I loved their dresses! Again–so unique and so classic. On the right is her cousin and adorable Junior bridesmaid.
Staci looked absolutely radiant when she was ready.
On the left is Staci with her Maid of Honor, Melissa. On the right–Staci and her Mom. They were adorable. Practically every time they made eye contact Ellen would cry. 🙂
This next shot just seems to capture Staci’s sweetness somehow:
We didn’t have the flowers yet but wanted to grab a few of Staci and her girls before heading over to the Candlewood Inn. Don’t they look great?!
As you can see–the blue sky and sunshine made for a perfect setting. As did the handmade details Staci included.
Inside was just as pretty. There were teacups and teapots with amazing flowers all around the venue. The colors were gorgeous!
Staci’s flowers were lovely and were done by Lane and Lenge. Staci had photos of her deceased grandparents added to her bouquet. So touching.
Check out the cake–love it!
I hate to end here but there is a crazy thunder + lightening storm over at my house and I gotta shut down before my computer gets fried!
Who am I kidding–my posts are always too long for one anyway. Stay tuned for Part Two soon!
EDIT: I had to add a quick shot of the happy couple since Andy didn’t make an appearance in Part One! He’ll be included in Part Two, I swear! He is the groom after all!
Staci and Andy–thanks so much for having us. Cheryl and I had a great time and I can’t wait to share more favorites with you!
