Tammy and Dan: Engagement Shoot

I met up with Tammy and Dan a couple weeks back to do their engagement session. We started off at their house, actually their driveway, so we could include their beloved camper in a few shots. These two are the ultimate laid-back, easy-to-hang-with couple.

Check out this set up: adjoining lawn chairs (with cupholders) and an oriental rug?! When it comes to camping in style, these two don't fool around!

In the interest of incorporating the camper some more, I used the wheel for my first ring shot.

Next we headed to Dan’s parents’ house. The backyard is incredible! Huge lawn, big, beautiful trees, and the best part–it is right on the river’s edge! Their wedding will be here in late September. It will be so beautiful! I can’t wait. Check it:

And because I can never pick one favorite version:

Gotta love a close-up. I can't help myself; the 85mm was made for these shots!

Have to make sure I sneak her cute red shoes in here somewhere!

I have a few versions of this moment but kind of like this treatment.

I am always drawn to aged, rusty and peeling objects. Love it for this ring shot.

Next we headed to a park in town:

How great is Tammy's laugh?!

I made them pull over at this old barn on our way back home. It took some searching since I couldn’t remember where I’d seen it, but we found it!

Tammy and Dan–I had so much fun dragging you around for hours taking pictures! Hopefully it was fun for you, too! I am even more excited now for your wedding. The location is to-die-for and I just know you two will make it a good time.
