This weekend I had my first ever double-header. Two weddings in two days. On Friday I photographed the wedding of Meredith and Brian at Saint Clement’s Castle<\/a> in Portland, CT. And on Saturday the wedding of Lindsay and Kyle at The Riverview<\/a> in Simsbury. Both events were just perfect. As you probably remember, we just experienced what felt like 100 days of rain in a row in the 2 weeks leading up to this holiday weekend. Every time I woke up to gray skies and wet grass I thought to myself, “Rain all you want. Get it out of your system. It’s got to be sunny again someday–hopefully in time for these weddings.” And voila! We lucked out. Both Friday and Saturday were gorgeous–as were my brides, the venues, the details–everything!<\/p>\n

I have only had a chance to get a quick sneak peek photo from each wedding ready to view so far but will have many more ready to share in the next couple of weeks. For now, feast your eyes on these:<\/p>\n
